reflection questions

The part of my art piece that can be improved id say is how I laid everything out I could definitely do better .I can Improve by changing the way I set the Polaroid frames for example make the picture upside down .The tools I used were the following , The move tool I used that to set the picture where I wanted it to be also I used the ,magic wand to cut out the negative spaces in the Polaroid frame .I also used   the image adjustment to change the color of my picture because it was too dark. I used the eraser to ease anything I did not want. This project wasn’t as easy as I thought it would be I definitely had to difficulties. The difficult part about this whole project was how I had to set everything up before doing the sketch of how I wanted the image to look. I feel like if I did the sketch I would of did a better job.  My goal was to put parts of my nephew in a Polaroid frame and also give him a background that described him I think I’ve met that goal .I would do a different lay out and position him differently. I would give myself a 7 because I didn’t put my full effort into this project.

I don’t think I need to work on anything because this project was the strongest one I’ve done yet and I wouldn’t change anything about it. The easiest part about the final was the coloring part and choosing different effects to avoid copyrights, also putting the pictures where I wanted them to be located. On this project I had no difficulties it was extremely easy. I started off by using the color pallet and also used the eraser tool to make sure the edges were crisp and then I used the filter than I went ahead and used the filter gallery to and changed the way the picture looked. I also used the quick selection tool to cute the extras that I did not want. My goal was to make the birthday card for a 5 year old and I wanted it to be different and not have all the unnecessary color so I went on and made the colors darker so I won’t be all boring. I wouldn’t do anything differently because it looks awesome and exactly how I wanted it to look.

reflection

Looking at the painting project I would say my strongest area is blending  the forehead  part of my nephews face I made it look real and close to his skin tone, I made sure I showed the crease on his clothes show as well .One area Id have to improve on would be ,making the crease on his clothes  look more real even though I did do a good job on some parts of it and also my nephews lip could be better but I messed up.The project itself was easy because we Miss.Cabral gave us a paper showing us different types of brush that we could use and guided us through the project so I feel as if this project was an easy A as long as we did what we were told to.The material I used were the followings ,first I started with the paint brush and picked aa bright color to outline anywhere I seen color change ,  second I used  the eye dropper to make sure I picked up the right color ,when I got the color of my desire I went in with the paint brush and colored in the the spot where I had outline earlier. When I was done with all the color matching I went in with the blending brush and blended the colors together to give it a smother look.My goal was to make my nephew look real by painting over the picture ,I had on goal throughout the project  to make him look and adorable as possible .I would probably do a different picture that had more lights and showed more color changes but over all I'm happy with the work I put in .
